AccidentAttorneys.org: Peer Reviewed Accident and Injury Attorneys Promoting Social Justice
AccidentAttorneys.org is a new website dedicated to the ideal that lawsuits can be used to improve the lives of individuals and us as a society. Our threefold mission is to:
- Put people in touch with experienced and highly credentialed lawyers who can help them
- Inform the public about important personal safety issues so they can avoid injury
- Support charitable organizations serving the victims of life-altering injuries in the communities we serve
Quality Lawyers Can Help
We believe that putting people in touch with experienced lawyers of the highest ethical standards and legal ability can help us all. Ethical capable lawyers uphold the best practices of their profession and put their clients first, ensuring that people, and not just the lawyer, receive benefit from their lawsuit.
An experienced accident lawyer will give an accident victim the best chance of success in their personal injury claim. This means that the victims are more likely to get compensation that they need to pay medical bills, make up for lost wages, and overcome other expenses and limitations caused by their accident injuries. This takes the cost of accidents off public institutions such as Medicare and Medicaid, reduces the burden on victims, and puts the cost of an accident on the individual, individuals or company that caused the accident.
Lawsuits can also punish individuals and corporations that seek to profit by putting other people at risk, including manufacturers of defective products and nursing homes that are intentionally understaffed to increase profits.
How We Select Our Lawyers
Lawyers can only become members of AccidentAttorneys.org if they have been selected by their peers as being leaders in the profession. There are four potential ratings that can qualify a lawyer for inclusion:
AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell®
Super Lawyer® listing
Listing in Best Lawyers®
Selection of the lawyer’s firm as a Best Law Firm®
All these ratings are performed by other lawyers who are in a position to judge the quality and expertise of a lawyer’s work. These ratings encompass the top 5-10% of lawyers in the country, and all include an ethical dimension as well as a consideration of the lawyer’s competence representing those who have been injured.
Our mission of being a positive force goes beyond helping victims find good lawyers. We also donate 10% of our profits to charities supporting the victims of serious injury. And we encourage all our member attorneys to donate regularly as well. To learn more about the charities we work with or to find an experienced accident and injury attorney in your area, please contact AccidentAttorneys.org.
