Common Household Toxins: That “Clean” Scent May be Killing You
If you have children you have probably already taken precautions to keep them from ingesting common household poisons, such as cleaning products and cosmetics, and of course you aren’t going to ingest them yourself, but what you might not realize is how toxic everyday products can be when used as intended. Cleaning and freshening products for our homes and our bodies may actually be destroying our health.

Scented products, of all types, are the first thing you should consider tossing. Simply reading the ingredients list won’t tell you much. The terms “fragrance” and “parfum” can indicate any of hundreds of toxic chemicals which harmful health effects ranging causing or contributing to cancer, disrupting the endocrine system, and harming your reproductive system.
