Videos will be scored based on:
- Safety Recommendations – Are your recommendations safe and sound?
- Creativity – Was the topic or message presented in a creative way?
- Craftsmanship – Was the video editing or production done at level of quality you’d expect from a college and/or law school student
- Social Media Shares – Are you able to capture people’s attention?
Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
In order to participate in the Accident Attorneys Organization’s 2016 Scholarship Contest, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- You must be currently attending or planning to attend a law school, college or university in the United States during the 2016-2017 academic year.
- You must be in good academic standing with your current educational institution.
- For applicants under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
- You must apply to the contest via email and provide your name, address, and the name of the institution you are attending or plan to attend.
- You must provide your video essay (YouTube format preferred) by the deadline of July 31, 2016.
